The breakfast here was excellent, with freshly squeezed orange juice and orange squash available. 🍊

I recently stayed at a hotel on the Atlantic coast for my adventure travels. It boasts a fantastic location right on the beach with stunning views from the breakfast hall. The ocean is visible immediately outside the window of the hall. Being close to the sea was very convenient and adds charm to the stay. The service was helpful and professional, and the breakfast was pleasingly plentiful. The room was cozy and well-appointed with the necessary facilities and features. However, the restaurant's menu was limited, which is a bit disappointing.

Fantastic hotel location! Generally, adequate staff at reception. We asked for the rooms to be nearby, that's how we were checked in. hotel has a garage, so you don't have to fight for a place in the sun with beach visitors who leave their cars right in front of the hotel.

room has not been cleaned, floor is dirty enough to walk in shoes, while slippers are not offered. we checked in, there was a dirty towel right in the sink, toilet was in the sand. windows are probably not washed at all, so the most beautiful view of the ocean for which in this hotel and stayed, you can see only by opening the windows. In our rooms, renovation wasn't finished, there was a wire sticking out of the ceiling, alarm system or the light, joint between the bathroom mirror and ceiling wasn't closed, cement was bluntly visible. There was no refrigerator, hairdryer or wardrobe in the rooms. Clothes were offered to be placed on a rack on wheels, there were no hangers on it. We had two rooms with exactly the same problems. we decided to call the reception it turned out that the phone is a props, it just does not have a wire and is not connected, it's really funny. hotel is not for those who are used to eating - breakfasts are very modest!

The silence, the view from the bed (even though the windows should be cleaned more often), the beach right at your feet...

first thing was that they wanted to give us rooms that weren't what we had paid for. That is to say we had to take 3 rooms because we could not put (supposedly) a triple room (2 of them with a view of the sea). At the time we entered the rooms, one led to an alley and was for 4 people, another was for 3 people and only if you leaned out on the terrace at the end you could see the sea and last was for 2 but with the same "sea views" for which you are charged of course! After talking to the receptionist (who, I must say, was 10 at all times) and asking for a solution, since these are not the rooms we have paid for even for that number of people, xq if there was the option of 3 beds we would have only taken 2 rooms, well, we waited for them to solve it and they gave us 2 rooms with real sea views and room for 4... In addition to all this mess, hotel on the outside is falling apart, I understand that it is the coast and that it spoils more easily, so you can not have a place, with holes in the terraces, with cracks in doors, floors, bathrooms... in my bathroom if you showered water came out of the sink mirror... needs a good reform, you can tell that is reformed inside... they have taken with the qualities... Breakfast... just like that, toast, small palms, yogurt and little more. I thought it was very poor.

Our room was well-kept and had a great view, and the location was fantastic, just a short walk from Guincho Beach.

Exceptional hotel with free wi-fi, the location is top near to sintra national park. The rooms are well-equipped with incredible views of the sea.

The hotel's heyday was in the 1960s/70s, charming view overlooking the waves, comfortable king size bed, friendly bar and restaurant staff, good value breakfast.

    Can't fault anything about it.

Authentic hotel, it feels like there's a little soul in the hotel. The hotel is filled with various inappropriate things and declarations, they feel like a story. The hotel is a bit deserted... The view is terrific. The first 24 hours, I couldn't get away from the window. We drove by the nearest coast and it's one of the best... We had a room after repairs. Very comfortable. Good air conditioning... You can't count on a beach vacation. The ocean is very cold, the water in the pool is icy too, the only wind isn't... You can get from Cascais Station on a clean-up for 7 euros.

The minuses didn't spoil the rest, but I wish the owner would pay attention to them... The hotel restaurant smells very badly of must and something unpleasant. They probably can't open their windows because they're old. You could make at least one tilting window... There are no shops nearby, only two expensive restaurants. The hotel has no available drinking water, you can only buy it in a small bottle at the bar for 2.5 euros, which is constantly lacking. This is unpleasant, disrespectful attitude some. Plus a huge amount of environmentally friendly plastic. It is better to make the room a little more expensive, but to give the opportunity to take filtered drinking water in the bar.

hotel is made in the ancient style, la fortress or fort, it is stylized aged, opposite - modern, clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. An interesting combination - the windows are old frames with fancy copper bars from the last century, they are very skillfully inserted modern double-glazed windows. room was overlooking the sea, sunsets there are simply charming. windows are washed (poured water over them) every day because of the constant wind that blows and brings shallow drizzle from the sea and this very view becomes a little muddy. breakfasts are good - omelette, sausages, pastries, tea, coffee and freshly squeezed juices. hotel has a restaurant, did not go there, because judging by the reviews of others are expensive and do not cook. There is a small village 1. 5 km. inland from the coast, where local restaurants are just fine food - large portions, fresh fish, cheaper by half than on the coast. Used a one-way trip 2. 5€.

During our Christmas stay, we were impressed by the picturesque beach views and the convenient location of the hotel. Being just steps away from the beach allowed us to enjoy the beauty of the ocean and observe the skill of surfers and boarders. The hotel provided a comfortable and clean room, offering a cozy atmosphere for relaxation. the staff at the front desk were helpful in providing guidance and directions for our travels to nearby attractions.

It is worth noting that the hotel appeared a bit dated and could benefit from some renovations. The breakfast provided was basic and could have had a wider variety of options.

It's very close to rocky and windy beaches of the Atlantics. The ocean and dune views from the hotel are perfect. If you want this savage windy and sandy atmosphere - you are welcome to this place.

The hotel is old-dated. The breakfasts are average for the price. But remember - you pay for the view and the authentic place itself.

The location of this hotel is absolutely amazing. It is situated right on the beach, with a stunning view of the sea. Being able to wake up and see the waves crashing from my room was a dream come true. the staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. They were always willing to help and make sure my stay was enjoyable.

I must say that this hotel is in desperate need of renovations. The rooms are outdated and in poor condition.

I saw in the site of Booked.net different reviews about this hotel. We stayed there 2 nights in March 2011, 3 rooms, with the ocean view. All the rooms were big, clean, with good bathroom, warms (the evenings and nights were enough cold). The restaurant was one of the best in our 10 days trip in Portugal.

Unbeatable and unique location on the beach with views at the ocean. And close to the Fort, a beautiful promenade walk to the wonderful Cascais, and the center of Cascais. Friendly service, bright guest room with great views, an awesome bed, for example...
